Foobot uses a MOS (Metal Oxide Semiconductor to detect total VOCs). This sensor does not detect each VOC (formaldehyde, toluene, benzene, etc.) but gives a global picture of VOCs levels. This sensor is highly sensitive to CO levels.
Minimum detected is 125 ppb.
CO2 levels are calculated according to VOCs levels thanks to complex algorithms. They are an equivalent. Foobot does not have a specific sensor for CO2.
Minimum detected is 450 ppm.
Optical sensing system, which detects particles in the air, from 0,003 to 2,5μg. These are the finest particulates, going to the bloodstream through lungs.
Minimum detected is 0 µg/m3.
Range is -40 to +125°C with accuracy of 0.4°C.
Range is 0 to 100% with accuracy of 4%.
